Roger,
I have two F1C models for sale, both fully trimmed, have been
contest flown, are in real good condition, and are immediately contest
ready.

The first model has a 104" Achterberg Wing, Nelson sideport, Seelig
Timer, full auto and bunt $1,000.

Second model has a 107" Achterberg Wing, Nelson sideport, Seelig Timer,
full auto and bunt $1,000.

I will have both models at Max Men contest. See Roger Simpson,
White Chevrolet Van in F1C area. Prefer to sell on site, $40.00 extra
per model for Shipping and Handling and Insurance if I mail models to
buyer. I have 7 F1C's now and just don't need that many.

Closed loop or active sensors????

I have been following the discussion on altitude based DT and
have yet to see the actual wording of the rule. I read what I could
find on the FAI website but could not find reference to the subject.
>From my conversations a year and a half ago with Martyn Cowley
I understood the wording was about active sensors not closed loop
systems. I was working on such a system but stopped due to this
interpretation.
Does anybody have the actual wording???????

Also please find attached a drawing from Frank Zaics "Glider Book"
published in 1944. An altitude based DT system!!!!!!
There really is nothing new under the sun. Just ask the L group.

F1C fuel ?

"To F1C flyers at the MM 14R.
. There are 4 gallons of castor mix (clear) and 5 gallons of synthetic
mix (pink). "

Are people using synthetic oil for F1C ?? ,
Surely not, that would be illegal since only castor oil is allowed
for F1C.

David Ackery

[I'm sure the synthetic fuel is just used for testing. I presume that
the organizers provide fuel for visitors who must travel by air
to the contest.]

Thanks
