I heard through the grape vine that a flyoff took place on fri night before
the maxmen meet. The models that flew were Kergers Acterberg 107 against
Archers Verbitskie gear the REDUCTER. I heard it was close but no one seems
to know for sure. If anyone knows exactly what happend let's find out.

It seems that so many fliers attend the MaxMen regularly, that we tend to
label them as Americans when they omit their countries on the entry forms.
The few that struck my attention are: Victor Stamov - Ukraine;
Abad Javier - Spain; Doug Rowsell, Ladislow Horak and Jerry McGlashen
are all Canadians; Tzvetan (Steve) Tzvetkov lives in New York.
Finally, I believe that Uri Silberstein is an Israeli.

If I am going to have any
success at all in the fly-offs, I must first have an apparatus (boat
wench and pull scale) to test my motors. But before I get underway with the
expense and work involved, let me inquire is there is some one here in So.
Calif. that has one they no longer need.
