News from the Wacky Willamette:

Sunny but a little breezy in the afternoon kept the Tangent Classic flyers eyes on the sky as their models were often caught in monster thermals.  The air was tricky however, as only the class winners were able to max out for the bigs and we had only one fly off in F1 G on mini day.  We did shorten the maxes for the final rounds both days as models were going well beyond the primary field and although we had motorcycle access the field to the south on big day had been rough plowed making the bikes useless.  The field was hard rolled on mini day so no worries but the breeze was much more aggressive.

We really want to thank all those that support our northern contest by traveling great distances.  Here are the scores:

Where are they now - Randy Archer

Randy took some time off from F1C to help his son Ryan with his Giant Scale R/C aerobatics activities.  Ryan does well and appreciates have someone as skilled as his father helping him.  We see them at the AMA shows where Ryan is doing sponsored indoor 3-D  R/C

<

Randy has also prepared  this classic Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV Convertible with his  prototype shift light hood tach. A video is on Youtube at http://goo.gl/CjCsRv

Ryan has been trying to get his dad to go back to F1C.  Randy has been thinking of some new ideas so you never know...
