2012 AmCup Results
Take a look-- plan your contests-- I'm sure the season will grow more interesting as we fly through the summer. I could not find the MaxMen mini events-- I'll track them down for the next exiting issue of AmCup results.
I've received the AmCup sanction fees from almost all the CDs / clubs-- thanks. I'm sending out reminders to those that have not. Send correction to my email/

Hi Roger, It appears that I have been removed from the SEN list..My dad had to forward the latest SEN to me. Can you check to make sure im still there? I haven't changed my settings at all on my e-mails, and both of the addresses I check have been removed it looks like. Thanks Roger
Ben
Reply - well Ben you have not been removed but maybe have subjected to perhaps great ignominy - You are farther down the mailing list than your father - so you get your SEN later than he does. To avoid being ensnared by the Spam police we throttle the rate that e-mails are sent so that it takes about 6 hours to send and SEN issue from the first to the last person. You will realize that your father's august status ... long standing SCAT member and SEN subscriber plus US team member puts him in front of you ...
Re: SEN 1640
Hi Roger
Perhaps you can solve a puzzle for me.
I was a regular reader and occasional contributor to SEN until May 2010 when it stopped coming.
At the time I was preoccupied by other matters and made no enquires.
Now it has magically reappeared two years later.
I wonder if this has to do with your mail out system, or whether maybe my ISP was blocking it ?
I received 1390 on 19/4/2010 then nothing until 1638 on 21/4/2012
followed by 1630 - 1637 on 25/4/2012 and normally since.
Those dates might be a coincidence......
I recall getting a message, saying I should confirm my details etc or SEN would cease forthwith.
The language and origin looked wrong so I treated this as spam / phishing.
Any way I'm pleased to see SEN again
Cheers
Sean
REPLy
to Sean and others ...
We discovered that a number of subscribers got unsubscribed by what appears to have been a software burp. This had been going on for some years but we noticed recently when about 50 people got black listed or unsubscribed. The process of putting people back on was rather laborious and it did not work exactly right the first time. We hope that we have got people back on and did not put any one back on by mistake.
You are probably correct about the note asking you to confirn your details - if anyone else got one of these I would be interest to know.
As a part of this process we reviewed the black list actions and were touched and honored by notes from the wives or family members from a number of modellers who are no longer with us. These notes said how much the modeller had enjoyed getting SEN and hearing what was going on even when they could no longer get out to the field. While these notes were usually addressed to me, I feel that they are for all the contributors who make SEN what it is.
and is a Leeper
