If you want a map to take with you, print the pdf file included on the page. It will print better and the instructions are there as well.

The WMC has  located a suitable flying site for the NW FF Champs and related FAI contests. This is a field which has been used in the past, albeit many years ago. It will be signed as of Wednesday PM and the portapots should be in place around the same time.

Access to the field is OK beginning Thursday.
Here are the directions:
Take the usual turnoff from I-5 (#228), drive E about .5 mile on Hwy 34, turn right onto Seven Mile Lane (at the blinking light), drive about one mile, then turn left (east) on Tangent Road for 1.5 miles. Turn right (south) onto Parker Rd. The field will be on the left (eastside) of the road about 1/2 mile from the turnoff.
I will have signs up Wednesday afternoon. The portapot is supposed to be in place Wednesday PM as well.

Honey, I blew up the kid!

well its been 8 years since my venture into the Slovakian mud and rain but it has brought back all those memories just reading about this years US JR team. Hats off to all you guys who work so hard and get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. I miss flying. I saw a picture of Logan and thought someone had stolen the machine from "Honey I Blew Up The Kid" and used it on him. Time goes by fast eh? I am so excited that the future of US free flight continue to set the bar. Congratulations team 2010....and heres to 2012!

Sneak Preview on FB

Of the Killer 2010 Sierra Cup t-shirt can be seen on Rene Limberger's Facebook picture. BTW, I thought that Rene was working on repositioning him self as an electronics guy, now I see I'm mistaken and his future is in the world of politics. It is only a short step to the national stage from model politik, after all FF is bigger than Alaska.  Rene, you need to be talking to Gene Ulm..
