Attention United States FAI Program Participants
 August 25th, 2008 is the deadline to decare your intention to attend and pay your entry fee(s)for the Finals. The only exception is when time accumulation by the participant is being completede up to 45 days prior to the Finals. An entry form was included in the last News Letter. 2007 Team Members remember if you have not entered the Program yet your total cost is $275.00. You may enter by e-mail or over the phone to Colleen Pierce at AMA HQ.

FAI Invitational at Munice
 

  
The 48th Annual FAI Invitational will be held August 23-24 in Muncie.  
Details can be found on the NFFS website, freeflight.org.  Look for the 
Master Calendar.  F1A-B-C and F1G-H-J will be flown.  No  EPQ, 
sorry.

 

The name "Invitational" lingers on but all AMA and MAAC members welcome to 
fly for glory, fun, distinctive trophies, and America's Cup points.

 

As an added attraction, Joe Mekina is planning an assault on the 
OHLG record if typical August weather holds for the weekend.  
 No regular AMA events are scheduled, however.
