AmCup Quick Update.
I did not incorporate the Northwest FF Champs, Tangent OR ties that were settled over the Livotto's- Sieera Cup weekend.
Rene Limberger has no longer "slipped" by Andrew Barron but now has an impressive 107 points. Andrew has 103 points, Brian VanNest 99, Mike Mckeever 96 and Peter Brocks 96. All four behind Rene have a credible shot at the lead. This will be another great year end race.
I did not realize the words I wrote about F1B were
already true, "Blake Jensen has enough bonus points but needs two non-Lost Hills wins---- Likewise Alex Andriukov has two 30 point contests so he would need a first and a second at two non- Lost Hills contests. well the tie breaker at Tangent Two was Blake first, Alex second. So Blake is now in a tie with Eddie VanLandingham with 102 points, Alex in third with 96. Another great year end competition.
I'm still carrying a tie in F1C as well-- I have not gotten word if this was broken or not. A win for Ed Carroll does not help his current first place score of 106. A win for Mike Roberts would give him solo possession of sixth place.
Reminder, ties must be broken within 60days, days to week exceptions may be granted to bridge to a contest date by contacting me. It is the final responsibility of the flyers to inform me of the broken tie results althought I appreciate the CDs that do so in a timely manner.
Because I'm in the correction mode-- please note the F1P at the up coming Patterson contest will use 7 sec engine run. This was not stated on the SEN flyer published two weeks ago.

Skyscrapers Annual
The Skyscraper's Autumn Contest is usually held a week after
the Sierra Cup, hopefully after most of the corn has been harvested,
and at the mercy of late October weather. This year, we were very
fortunate to get, on the heals of a large rainy front, a Saturday with
a light westerly winds and a perfect calm and sunny Sunday with
temperatures in the mid seventies.
The last rounds proved to be difficult for F1G (Saturday) and F1A
(Sunday) as the air became tricky. Ranan Lachman spoiled a perfect
run on his last flight. F1B had a flyoff between Ron Felix and Tom
Vaccaro after the award giving, which was wan by Ron - who also
came in third at the Sierra Cup the previous weekend.
Of note are the juniors contending for the F1A and B junior teams.
Oliver Cai dropped some time on the third round to finish a strong
3rd. Miles Johnson was flying a backup mechanical model which
developed problems that could not be repaired on the field and
Michelle Radziunis' start button jam on her third round. Fortunately,
the soft sod helped limit the collateral damage.
It was a wonderful weekend to end our flying season at Wawaynda.
