U.S. FAI Free Flight Participants

The proposed 2013 program has passed unanimously and is now official. Actually, there was one no vote but it came in after the official deadline. However, that opinion will be considered when constructing future programs. I would like to thank everyone for entering the previous, new at the time, program with an open mind. The feedback we received from the post finals questionnaire accompanied by the high approval rating for this program confirmed what most of us observed at the last finals, an excitement among the contestants and good overall moral.

The complete program as well as the entry form is posted on the AMA website and can be accessed via the link below.

http://www.modelaircraft.org/events/teams/teamprograms.aspx

You can also enter the program by calling Colleen Pierce at AMA 1-765-287-1256 ext 252.

Also, in an effort to improve communication and expedite the process The TSC and AMA are phasing in the use of email for official team program correspondence. If you have not confirmed your preference for email as well as your email address with Colleen at AMA please do so. You can also still specify a postal option. She can be reached at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Ed's Note - Dave I got mine and liked it too, but I did go online to look at the extras and could not find the Fab Feb [Ike/Kiwi/NA Cuo/Maxmen) report that was mentioned in the issue.

One month before the Dual-club FF Bonanza at Lost Hills. Attached is the flier in word and PDF in case you haven't downloaded it from the Lost Hills website (LHFFMAA.com). Aside from lots of events to fly, we will have our famous Ice Cream Social at noon during the official 1 hour lunch break in flying. Also, we are continuing the Saturday night Food Festival. We only ask that you bring a side dish or a dessert to feed 6. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be on the grill along with all the fixings.

One correction regarding Vintage FAI. The flier calls out a Vintage FAI website for the rules. This has been obsoleted and replaced by NFFS rules. Go to their site for the latest. A copy will be available to consult at the CD table. See you all at the field.
