100 DOLLAR CASH AWARD
Top Junior in HH CAT Glider, event 142
The Smith/Brokenspar Gatapult Glider Incentive
A crisp 100 Dollar Bill will be delivered to the winner
at the prize giving at the close of the event.
This incentive was cooked up btween
Tom Smith of San Diego, and,
Brokenspar, during an exchange of emails
concerning some 1970's 6mm Pirelli rubber.
This rubber, Smith avows, is the nuts for Catapult.
Reaches it's peak in less extension.
How long are your arms !
A junior, entered in the contest,
can get a trial piece. See Brokenspar.
( Old Guy with a beard.
Used to smoke cigars )
( approved by Nat's CD, and NFFS President )
[ it seems to me that John Clapp has to
take up the challenge and provide a further incentive
if the said junior is using Super Sport -
should be able to best that 35 year old gummi
n'est pas John ?

Dear Roger,
I am looking for a "start on launch" timer switch suitable for my new F1J.
Do you know of any source, maybe an F1B item?????
Thanks, David Halliday
[David
All my timers have a start on launch switch - is your timer
mechanical or electronic ?
If it's mechanical Alex Andriukov or Mike Mulligan would have
F1B parts.]

Mike Keville, Great memories, thanks for them. Remember, if you are
flying the the Air-O Zeek (plans drawn by Lew himself) it can also be
flown in Ignition Nostalgia since ignition is shown on the plans. I have
a nice removable ignition pack designed for mine. No time to finish it
for the Nats this year tho because all my time is being spent working at
Architecture and resurrecting my METEOR III with floats as in my Sympo
2005 article. This is of course for the resurrected 2005 AMA R.O.W.
event. Ed Mate

The MMM National Cup "Late Day" contest scheduled for July 17th (Sunday)
has been MOVED to July 16th (Saturday). This is due to a road closure
that was late in notice and obviously beyond our control. Please spread
the word to anyone you know who may have been planning on attending.
The contest will go on as planned Saturday July 16th with our
traditional on-field potluck cookout featuring grilled burgers provided
by the MMM. Bring a side dish such as chips, potato salad, or dessert.
The contest features the regular monthly MMM event lineup plus special
contests for Embryo Endurance and Catapult Glider with prizes to the
winners. Official flying is from 9 a.m. 'til sunset.
