========================
The virus is called the KLENZ virus. From one person
it send e-mail to another , pretending to come from a third party.
Both the addressee and the psuedo-from are taken from
the originators mail box.
I have seen some proporting to come from either This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Typically these will have one or two
attachments. NONE of these chave come from SEN. In addition we
have not sent e-mail from SEN containing attachments for sometime.
By looking at the mail headers, which are normally hidden by your
mail program it is possible to determin the e-mail address of
the affected/infected computer.
There are noe e-mail message purporting to have a fix for the KLENZ
virus - these look very musch like a hoax.
For those who wish to understand about the e-mail virus toy can
check out the Trend Micro Web Site.
This is the link to a company that we use. I do not know if they provide
antivirus products or services for the consumer.
but their information is good.

Heart of American Contest
=========================

Hello Roger:
I read Dick Wood's comment on the Heart of America FF Assoc. (HAFFA) Contest
15-16 June. This is a new venue and the ONLY date that the Kansas Speedway
would agree to was 15-16 June. Repeat, no other date could be scheduled.
None, nada. This date does conflict with Pensacola and we are sorry for that
fact. But it was that date or nothing. Note that this is NOT an America Cup
contest but a National Cup contest with FAI events added. If the Speedway
folks like us and the site seems suitable, we may seek an America Cup
sanction for next year if we can get a date that complements other venues.
So, it is not that we don't care or don't know. We have not had a sanctioned
FF contest in the Kansas City area for years and when the only date
available conflicts with a contest in Florida we simply could not pass on
the opportunity.
With luck, maybe we can lure Dick to KC next year!

For Hardy: Acculab telephone is 800-656-4400. Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and
website: http://www.acculab.com. If your internet search was spelled acu lab
(as it was in the note) you probably didn't find it.
For Bill: Electronic transmission of a flyer for the Inter-Cities contest is
quite interesting to me. Besides having a flyer to travel with, I could make
use of said person to actually fly some of my models in events that I
otherwise wouldn't have time or energy for. After all, if we can buy
models, why not rent flyers? Could you please provide a description of said
flyer's phyiscal and mental attributes to aid my selection? Technolgy is
wonderful!

I got mine from Precision Weighing Balances,
http://www.balances.com/
and found them most efficient and helpful. FWIW I bought the VI-1200
with case and calibration weight. With a capacity of 1200g by 0.1g
its about perfect for outdoor FF.

Jim's virus

Roger,
I received three similar e-mails to the ones that Jim received. They
all supposedly came from modelers, and they were from three different
ISPs, one of which was AOL. They all had the Silicon Investers subject
with an attachment.
I checked with my ISP tech. people and they suspect it is one of the
KLEZ. worm variations.
If we keep this computer stuff, SEN may get just like your job, and we
now you'd hate it.

Hello All,
Today(Sun) Stan Buddenbohm and I drove to Otay Mesa for the SD =
Semi-Annual.
It located SE of San Diego, just above the Border.
Good weather with light drift til 11am or so, with quite a lot of lift =
which could bump
you around and out at times. Lots of rolling hills and dales will do that.
We were there for the Catapult Glider event, since it had a Nat Cup sanction.
Stan won with 360 sec and I took 2nd with 337sec.
Coupe was flown in 5 rds of 40 min each. Jim Lueken dropped 1sec(!) in rd 1,
while Gus(sorry, missed his last name) dropped...yes you guessed right, dropped
1 sec in rd 5! That is some long odds for that to happen, I am sure.
They decided to do the FO @ a later date as the breeze and big lift was
present.
Hope the FAI comp was good for ya'll @ Lost Hills.
Lee
Thanks
