Roger
I suppose others have noticed that recent SENs have been numbered out of sequence.
2018 onward, should have been 2108 onward.
Sean ... maybe others noticed but you were the first to tell me - thanks for that. Just too busy with Fab Feb stuff, the organizing, flying and visiting friends. now back to the right number ...

Lost at Lost H
From : Mike Roberts
I lost my 10x50 Steiner binos near the yellow poles 2 through 4. I also lost my white USA Mongolian Team hat. I hope someone might have them.
Thanks
Mike

Lost Chair
From: Marty Schroedter
I lost a chair at the Max men contest. Last seen right before the 6 minute
flyoff flight. I was flying around pole 32 all day then went down to pole 8
for the flyoff, when I came back the chair was missing. It is a green REI
camping chair, no side table. It has a label on the leg with our names and
phone number on it. If found please contact us and we'll figure out how to
get it back.

Fab Feb Thanks
From: Leslie Farkas
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Roger Morrell, Norm Furutani, Bill Booth, Tony Mathews and Peter Allnutt with all the helpers for the well organized contests at Lost Hills. They made our sport enjoyable and we all had a great time.

Thank you Roger for your tireless work in getting the results and reports
out in such a timely manner - while you are competing and contest directing
at the same time! I think when my son retires as a super hero, you may be
asked to step up. Great work Roger and sorry I didn't get to say good bye
when we left.
See you at the next one
Craig
Thanks for the kind words, but it really is a team effort running the events and I'm only part of the team.
But I must admit if being a super hero gives me one of those special hammers to knock in my stooge pegs I could no doubt wind harder ! Maybe that's the secret to a 120 M climb in F1B.
The way I see it anyway.
From: Leslie Farkas
I was not at the Kiwi Cup on Saturday but there were some rumors circulating after the competition that Tony Mathews have padded the time of his countryman in the Fly-off. I know Tony for thirty five years and I strongly object to this accusation. He has never shown less than the highest level of sportsmanship and honesty. In North America we been running our contests by the "Honor" rules. We timed each other for decades without any major disagreements. The reason for this and as my dear friend Juan Livotto said many years ago " If I find anybody cheat, he or she will be disqualified and will never be allowed to enter my contest in the future" Speaking as a Canadian, we know how to win in style and accept a defeat gracefully, but with the determination to make the difference in the next contest. If there was any issue, it should have been brought to the attention of the contest director by filing a protest. Spreading rumors without presenting facts is not acceptable. The fact is that after the contest the timer from the model in question was given to Sergei Makarov with a minor problem. (the flasher was not working) It was in his possession until days later when he checked the altimeter which confirmed the time flown and registered during the contest. Perhaps the organizers of future competitions should not allow a timekeeper from the same country where the competitor is from. It is fair to say that we have no place for cheaters or unfounded accusations in our sport.Based on this and In my view, Tony is owed an apology. The way I see it anyway.
