Welcome !
Scottish Proposal
From: Stuart Darmon
Hi Roger,As ever, Chris "Cutting" Edge remains the voice of reason , but in this instance, I would dispute that the 'Scottish proposal' is in fact the logical conclusion. Surely that would be to dispense with primitive models altogether, and hold our contests online. Airframes, rubber and engines could be downloaded from manufacturer's sites for appropriate prices, and weather conditions mathematically modeled according to the virtual country in which the event takes place. Solves every problem we have at a stroke- what's not to like? Regards, Stuart
Editors comment - I was astonished to see that both you and EoB left out the bit about running the event from the "local" hostelry or perhaps sebveral such establishments via Skype
About - Hi Roger Timing and performance -2 two separate questions but related*
In my view we must act to reduce performance , the last year I was writing
in facebook that to resolve the fields problems and the long flyoff ,
and the distances to see where the models take land is *add weight*, in
my case F1C 30 grams/sq decimeters it is so easy to do and not need to
change our new models so I am agree to Alan Jack
Thanks
Manuel Blanco
