Squatters Team Selection prose
From: sweepettelee
Senor SEN Magic, once again Squatter(FYI, this Ol' Leeper gave him that handle many eons ago, so I have rights to call Tom that til Hell freezes over)has succinctly laid down some illuminating prose as related to the goings on of our current Glider-guiders at Team Selection competitions. I say HUZZAH, SQUATTER TOM!
By the way Tom, you are obviously a fit athlete, so if you dust off your F1As & train some, I wager you would be a top dangerman for the 2019 Team. Why not take my open challenge? (no excuses! )
Regards,The Ol' Leeper(a former glider-guider)
2016 Jr Team Supporter Shirts
From: Jim Parker
I made it past the USA FF Finals and now I'm catching up on some tasks. I was able to get the Jr Team Shirts to those that donated $100 or more thanks to Brian and Janna VanNest at the NATs and recently at Lost Hills. I mailed some today as well.
I do not have the mailing address for the following people that donated to the Jr Team program. Please send me your address via email and I'll ship you your shirt.
Roger Gregory
Russell Backer
Joe Williams
John Pratt
Richard Ivers (if you did not get yours at the NATs from Brian VanNest)
And anyone else I missed.

2016 AmCup Report
2016 Endless October is complete. There are five contests left in the 2016 AmCup season which has the makings for several year-end races for first place.
The only wrapped up event is F1E and it is Peter Brocks in the lead—who else? It was close this year, very close. Special mention goes to Bob Sifleet who could have NOT flown in the AZ Champs (at Lost Hills- you figure it out) last week that would have deprived Peter of the bonus point he needed to tie Bob’s total points. Peter wins by a single tie breaker point.
Shlomi Rozenzweig has the lead in F1A and can improve a 21 point score. We’ll see if his knee / ligament injury that prevented him from competing at the USA Team Section Finals improves so he can defend his lead.Mike Mckeever is in second but would need a a 4 bonus point win to tie for the win. Jama could tie- win with a 25 point win. Ken Bauer would need two wins with bonus points to win.
Tony Mathews is in F1B lead with only 4 wins—how efficient!Bill Booth needs a 2 bonus point win for a tie-win. Walt Ghio and Blake Jensen would need 2 bonus point wins to overtake Tony.
Faust Parker is fairly secure in F1C. Everyone below him would need two wins and bonus points. Ditto this for Faust in F1J as well.
Hard to believe but only 4 entries in F1P so far. Bob Hanford in the lead with 4 wins. The other 3 are not even close.
Tiffaney O’Dell again has a strong lead in F1G. Everyone below her would have to win two contests with bonus points to overtake her.
“It is not necessary for student to beat instructor!” Blake Jensen in only his second complete F1H season is in the lead. Brian Van Nest can wrestle the lead away with a 25 point win. Several of us can catch him with two wins. You are on your own now Grasshopper.
Dick Ivers is in the F1Q lead with Jack Murphy and Julie Parker are nipping at his heals but they are not likely to have 5 bonus point contests needed to catch Dick—oh, they would need to win too.
F1S, new for the 2016 season is being led by foxy Lee Hines.Like in F1Q, Jack Murphy and Julie Parker along with Dick Ivers and Clint Brooks are nipping at Lee’s heals. Julie, Dick and Clint could take the lead with a 25 point win but Lee can improve his score with a 25 point win. This will be an interesting event to watch.
