*North American Cup pre-entry:*

So far we have 50 sportsmen pre entered in the North American Cup for the
Fab Feb. Only 12 of which are from the USA. I assume that the other USA
sportsmen plan on entering on the field? It would help us if you could
advise us of your intent via E-mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) rather then
wait until you get to the field.

Thank you

Lost Hills Update

Today several Lost Hills board members and myself had a meeting at Lost Hills to talk about the new orchard and several other items regarding the Lost Hill flying field.

The main item from this meeting regarding the upcoming contest is that we have permission to drive our motorcycles on the dirt roads between the new orchards. We are also allowed to walk on the their property to retrieve our models. No riding of any wheel type vehicle will be allowed on the orchard property. The plastic lines for the drop irrigation have been installed and are being used to moisten the soil for planting of the trees in March and April. Do not walk on the plastic lines if you have to enter the field to retrieve your model.

We will provide the above information to each contestant. Also, we will have signs posted at the edge of the fields where you are required to walk. As president of the Lost Hills association, I am asking you to please to pay attention to these new rules regarding our flying field. We need to keep in good standing with our new neighbors.

Let's Surprise Peter

From Cenny Breeman

We all know Peter Allnutt. And next month, on 6th March, Peter hopes to celebrate his 80st birthday. As is the case with most old men, he sticks to old  habits.
So Peter eg. does not use a computer, he sticks to pen and paper. Not that there is something wrong with it, but you cannot send him birthday greetings  via Facebook or email and you cannot reach him via telephone because he is always on the field and he has no cellphone of course. But we can reach him via the postoffice. We could send him a real paper birthday card. I am sure he will appreciate it. So lets surprise him. We all send him a card for his birthday. Peter lives at 527 Philippine street, Taft, 93268 CA USA.
Lets fill his mailbox.
