The weather was good, perhaps too good as the drift was light and varied slightly during the day causing the flight line to be moved twice. No mean feat for the sportsmen moving their models and equipment across the newly harvest fields. But this was necessary as models were D/Ting in the the car park. This event had 49 out of 71 clean at the end of seven rounds. Fo the first time ever Israel took team followed the the Czech republic and USA
F1B
This was the day with the toughest air conditions. In particular rounds 6 and 7 had long periods of doldrums.. This was shown in the results with only 31 of 105 clean after 7 rounds. No team was clean. The USA was the closest missing only 4 seconds total. In addition the fly off air was miserable with only a couple of moments of positive air. Toughest tree story is Alex Andriukov who has best still absolute performance of any F1B flyer landed in high tree only 10 seconds short of the 5 minute max. Alex had collected a tree the final fly off at the last World Champs in Argentina.
F1A
The easiest day to pick air gave us the biggest fly off field ever in world champs
Overall position
Out of the 3 events the USA team only dropped 4 seconds in the regular rounds and this should give USA the France Challenge for the overall combined team total. Looks like the Czech Republick is next followed by Israel.
