The following flies have qualified time-wise (as of 7-31-12) but have not paid the AMA a $200 Final's entry fee:

Although Guy Menanno has paid the $200 Final's entry fee, he needs to add a $75 program entry fee and a $200 time bypass fee to enter the Finals.

BIG SCALE STAFFEL TWO-DAY at Perris, California

August 25th and 26th there will be a fabulous opportunity to fly, jawbone
and generally have a lot of fun. The SCALE STAFFEL will hold their 3rd TWO
DAY EVENT at the SCAMPS Field in Perris, California. Ontario International
is about 40 minutes from this 6 MINUTE FIELD and a new Holiday Inn Express
is across the street.

SCAT Summer Fun Contest - this weekend at Lost Hills

Looks to be a small system coming thru on Friday afternoon but Sat morning looks good, Sunday looks even better. I'm changing my plans and I'll be driving up early Sat morning and staying over Sat night to do some more testing Sunday morning, departing ~9:30am.

Can anyone give Ben Coussens a ride back to the Magic Mountain area Saturday afternoon?

I will be on the field set up for the contest before the 7:00 am start. I have the Summer Contest "SCAT BLACK CUP" perpetual trophy for this weekend's winner.

I'm anxious for this test contest / session--- torn between the Rene L's impressive Denver launches with tight plastic (orocoat) and M&K's 108 m Feb launch with Ikarus this past Feb. I'll be trying new (old Martyn Cowley high shrink alum mylar) on my LDA center panel for more data to see if I strip down my wings and cover with Ikarus.
