U.S. Team Manager nominations
Per the Program; “Any person who wants to be considered for Team Manager must submit his/her name in writing by email to the TSC Chairman not later than 30 days after the Finals. Team members and program participants are encouraged to submit recommendations for Team Manager to the FF TSC Chairman or AMA directly.” That puts the deadline at Nov 10th. Also, per AMA’s World Championship Teams ‘Blue Book’: “Team manager nominations will be accepted from the AMA membership community; groups which can be involved in this process may include: program participants, the presidents of AMA-recognized Special Interest Groups, previous and current team members and helpers, AMA HQ, and the team selection committees. A brief résumé must accompany the nomination.”
The resume requirement doesn’t have to be a big deal; a few sentences is fine. Please submit requests and nominations to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thanks.

At the Big Al’s contest in May we had high winds on Friday and the F1E event was cancelled for the day. This is a reminder for all F1E flyers that we will have the event on Friday, November 9th. This is the weekend of the SCAT Patterson FAI contest and San Valeers 25th Nostalgia contest. We will start at 10 am. Seven rounds, depending on conditions. Round times will be 30 minutes. If you have any questions e-mail me at the above address. Walt
Piserchio Winder for sale:
I have a new winder made by Bob Piserchio, confirmed by Bob at the Finals, with a installed Hinson high torque, 160 inch-ounces, torquemeter. The winder does not have a turns counter installer. The turns ratio is 4:1, or very close to that. The asking price is $275 and that included shipping to the United States to Canada.
This winder was from the estate of a flyer who bought it in the mid '90 and died shortly after he received it. If you have any question please contact me.
