I have sent the contest notice for the Bissonnette Cup of Denmark to the Lost Hills web site, http://www.lhffmaa.com/index.html. In a few days you should be able to down load a pdf copy of the notice. The California FAI Invitational will be on Columbus weekend of October 8th and 9th. The Bissonnette Cup will start on Monday the 10th with F1E. F1ABC and Nostalgia Wakefield will follow on Tuesday the 11th. F1GHJQ and Vintage FAI Power will be held on Wednesday the 12th. This will be fly one flight / time one flight contest. We will not be using poles for this contest. The Dutch World Cup contest in February used this format and it worked out very good so I decided to follow with the same format. If Mother Nature is not kind to us we will use Thursday the 13th as a back up day. The Sierra Cup will follow starting on Friday the 14th. We will be having a Endless October t-shirt available for the flyers also. If you have any questions about the Bissonnette Cup of Denmark please send them to me at the above address.

Regarding next year 2012, I will be moving the Bissonnette contest back to Memorial Day weekend. With the USA team finals being held in 2012, it would be just too many events in a two to three weekend period. Juan Livotto has agreed to take on the third World Cup contest that we are allowed next year. This will give the World Cup flyers still having two contests in October at the Lost Hills flying site. The 2012 dates for the California FAI Invitational will be October 6th and 7th. My suggestion is that the team finals be held on Monday the 8th thru Thursday the 11th and then the Sierra Cup. This gives the flyers a one-week span to cut down on motel, food, etc cost. I have talked to Juan and his date is set. The above dates are just a suggestion for our team selection committee and the Sierra Cup CD’s.
