Where is Biggles ?

Mr SCAT,
I too like Jim Parker have been wondering what has
happened to Marytn Cowley in the results sheet lately.
So imagine my surprise when watching a popular music
programme the other day than there was Biggles ! It
would appear (to me at least) that Martyn is
moonlighting as the lead singer in a popular beat combo
called 'Outkast' and with much sucess. His appearance
has obviously changed but I put this down to a skin
pigment transplant with Michael Jackson.
Can anyone confirm this allegation ?

This is a rare bargain. Harbor Freight advertised this for $9.99, FREE
SHIPPING.
I just got mine, and that's what I was charged. A very handy tool for
modelers

Roger, I spent the day at Lost Hills today, meeting with the supers
from the farming operation and Holloway. I thought it was very
encouraging. It looks like we will have very few inconveniences for the
Winter Classic and Maxmen. I plan to make a poster map with all the
details of where we can go with bikes and where we cannot. I'm
guessing that 95% of chasing can be done on a bike. Looks good for now.
Also, received official permission to use the "hill" for F1E. Remember,
MM entries need to be in by 2/8/04. gb

Mollendorf,
I have been using the Bill Bogart article from Sympo '70, "Turning Flight,"
for a number of years. The thrust of the piece is to quantify both dihedral
effect and vertical tail volume for towline, rubber and power models.

Balsa availability

Katmar Products has sent me an amended pricelist for the regular and
contest grades of balsa offered.
It's not actually a list of price increases but a notification of a much
expanded range of sheet, stick and block balsa.
I've never -as yet - heard of anyone being dissatisfied with balsa
purchased from this dealer; the wood I bought was all far better than
anything to be found in a hobby shop and the contest grades were very
superior.
If anyone would like a copy of the pricelist please reply to me direct,=
I don't want to take up List bandwidth by posting it here.

Guys,
Does anyone know the location of Eddie Black, a 1960 era Scottish
modeler living around Glasgow. He designed the Urchin, an unlimited
rubber design featured in the 1960 Aeromodeler.
Thanks,
Bob Mattes
