I am considering get back into flying models after a 30 year absents.
I am now retired and have been attempting to learn what the new
vernacular and what it means? As an example, I read about different
events with three character definitions, like F1C, F3B and so on. Where
can I go to find a complete list of all the FXX categories and what they
mean and requirements for competitive model requirements?
Second, Where do I look on your web site for technical definitions /
requirements for any model type with in the FAI contest rules?
Thanks Don Long

The FXX classes are FAI classes. There is a sumary of the F1X
classes on the SCAT website www.aeromodel.com/scat because they
are the free flight classes. Look for the FAI Model Specifications
link on the SCAT Home page.
The Full FAI Sporting code can be found on the FAI Web site
www.fai.org then go to air sports then aeromodelling then documents.
US information can be obtained from the AMA web site at
www.modelaircraft.org

Just got a call from George. 'Sounds like things are going well there
now. He said the guys are flying great.

[ Note the first day of the flying in the Champs is Friday and assuming
it is needed the F1A flyoff will be on Saturday morning. Israel is 10
hours ahead of US Pacific time.]
