News filtered in about F1A and F1H at the Nats .. in F1A all
the stars did badly , I guess that they must have too focussed
on dry conditions for Israel. Un upset in F1H, I did get the first 3

Dear Roger.
I send you the results of the Summer Cup 1999,
World Cup event in F1A, F1B, F1C free flight models,
Stalowa Wola, Poland, 30 July - 1 August 1999.
The organization of competitions was on a high level. Weather was not
absolutely good. There was a strong wind, which blew across a not broad flight
field and the models rather frequently landed in a village, which was behind it.
Due to successful correction of starting point and abbreviation of flight time
by the organizers has made possible to reduce quantity of losses and breakages
of models, and it was real.
In first of F-1-A the day of additional rounds was not. In second
(F-1-B, F-1-C) day in additional rounds excellent flights has shown Oleg
Kulakovsky (F-1-B), which has taken the first place.

Sparrow Hawk P-30 article, by John O'Dwyer, is in Model Aviation,
November 1988, pages 72-78, then onto 175, 178-179.
In addition to describing the building process very well, O'Dwyer takes
time to lay out the rules for flying P-30. It's a great article.
I ordered my reprint of the article from the AMA library in Muncie.
Think I called 1 800 435 9262 and asked to talk to someone regarding
reprints of construction articles. AMA also sells plans for the Sparrow
Hawk.
