Kids King at Kmiev Kup in Karkov

In reading the Live reports via F1U.org on the Kmiev Cup in karkov this weekend we see that in F1B the next generation the top Ukranian F1B families all beat their parents - Alex Kulakovsky beat Oleg to win the event. Oleg did up hold the parents honor by finishing second over all - but Evgeny Gorban jnr beat his dad, junior flyer Andriy Stefanchuk beat Stepan and Nastya Vivchar beat both her father and uncle.

In the side F1A the young Ukranians did not come up to snuff but the Russian juniors did getting first and 4 th place.  Further down the list UKR junior Dmitriy GRUSHKOVSKIY did beat his father Yuriy.

Go to F1U.org for the scores.

While I do not know the players so well except for the big names, I did notice that the Antonov Cup quite a number of younger F1C [in their 20s] sportsmen, again a reversal of the current trend.

In other events French junior Remi Bardon won F1B at Poitou.

Sloans Hang up the Skillet

Hi Roger,

Received a phone call from Lois Sloan last night.  She told me that they have retired from cooking and will not be at Lost Hills contest any more.  Jay is recovering from the bypass surgery and has decided that his cooking days are over.  They plan on visiting the Sierra Cup on Saturday to say hello to the flyers.  For sure, they will be missed.
