Dear Friends,
With heavy hearts, Bill Booth Jr. and I are writing on behalf of Tina Brush to
share some sad news we just received. Our dear friend and fellow modeler,
Al Brush, passed away today, August 11, 2005. Al was passionately in love
with his beautiful wife Tina, his love for God was unwavering, he loved
modeling, and treasured all the friends he made through this wonderful hobby.
Al... we love you - the flyoff just started, looks like you've already won!
Please keep Tina in your prayers.

A German friend of mine, Tassilo Schwend, is looking for an
Achterberg 6-panel wing F1J kit or model. Tassilo lost one of the two
Achterberg F1J models he had, in France, during a flyoff, deep into a
Forest.

Fast Richard's daughter Lex here!

It cannot be 35 years - I am 36!

Mary-Kay said "Fix it - Don't make ME that old!"

So, it was more like 23-25 years ago.

So few people know Lone Oak, you must have been among the special ones!

Thanks for your great comments about FR! I have my own memories of model
airplane stuff - Grandad (Don Mathis), stunt, M&P, Tommy-T, etc...I have
the stories my family has told me over the years (over and over!), but the
stories from people like you are just great!
It's really cool to read great things about your Father online! I have
saved all of it for my son to have.

THANKS TO EVERYONE!

Lexie (Mathis) Jone
