To everyone concerned about the events for the Eastern States Championships
being run in Maryland on April 21 & 22nd. The events as posted previously on
the Scat Newsletter STAND. WE SPECIFICALLY MOVED COUPE TO SUNDAY TO
ACCOMMODATE MANY FLYERS THAT WERE COMING LONG DISTANCES TO FLY WAKEFIELD ON
SATURDAY AND COUPE ON SUNDAY. The flyers that were mailed out were
specifically posted on the front that coupe had moved to sunday. ALL OTHER
EVENTS ARE AS PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED. I have no idea where Aram Schlosberg got
the information that is contrary to this. He never spoke to me and I AM THE
GUY WHO PUTS THE FLYERS TOGETHER AND SCHEDULES THE EVENTS AND DOES THE
MAILING. This contest was put to bed in December of 2000. Aram got a set of
flyers from me personally. If anyone has any further doubts about any events
please e-mail me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call me at 410-778-3933. Tom Kerr
and I have worked too hard to have this meet a success to have it screwed up
at this late date by a misunderstanding or misinformation being published.

Roger,
Seeing the info on butcher paper tailboom form reminded me that Titebond II
should make an excellent glue for such a project.
It's water based, but quite water resistant, being used for patio furniture
and decks.
Looks like a quality product, has little odor and is only $12-$15/gal which
is enough for more models and honeydo projects than anyone should
contemplate.

A. Schlossberg's e-mail is incorrect. F1G is scheduled to be on Sunday,
not Saturday as Schlossberg reported. Please publish this information
a.s.a.p. I have received a number of phone calls about this already
about this error. Our brochure was correct in listing F1G on Sunday.

Waegell Field is located southeast of Mather AFB near the corner of Sunrise
Blvd. And Jackson Highway. From the Stockton area, it is best to take
Highway 99 north past Lodi and go northeast on Grant Line Road just below
the town of Elk Grove. Continue on Grant Line Road until you cross an
aqueduct then bear left onto Sunrise Blvd which heads due north. Cross
Jackson Highway at the four-way signal lights and count approx. 14 telephone
poles from the corner on the right hand side. After that you will see a gate
leading towards a sheep shed and pen. This is Waegell Field.
