Can any of you die hard rubber flyers give us any info on the batch of 1/8"
tan rubber that came out in December 97? I'm hoping that someone has some
real data on it. I don't mind getting answers like, well, I wound it up and
made a max so it's probably pretty good, or, I never broke a motor using
that batch but then again I only wind to 65 in/oz of torque, that's not
exactly the info I'm looking for. Surely one of you guys has some info that
puts it in the general percentile of other batches, such as the May 98 which
was good stuff? No cheating on this, I don't want to hear that it's the
best rubber ever if the truth is that it's not even good for making bungy
cords. Thanks in advance for all your wisdom and test results.

[Jon , the rubber is really bad , just so that you are not discouraged
I will take if off your hands for a small consideration ! :-) , also
I have bridge for sale. - Actually this was not a real killer batch, but it
was still pretty good, particularily in the light of the rubber factory's
current output !]

Dear Sirs :
>From the beginning in early thirties, rubber models were popular among
the pioneers in Argentina. From as I have memory talking about Wakefield
Cup, Wakefield models and Wakefield flyers was current chat in our
flying fields. Anyone's pipe dream was to see engraved his name in the
Cup ....
Few days ago, I decided to visit FAI page.
My central objective was to find some basic information about the famous
Wakefield Cup story.
Simply I was finding just basic data such as when it started , the
winners through the years, FAI insertion into this competition ( F1B ),
if not all, some competition results, etc.
But for my entire surprise, I couldn't find any trace about Wakefield
story in FAI terrain. Incredible!
Maybe FAI amnesia ?
I would like to know if someone of SACT veteran could help me.
Thanks in advance.

Tan II
======

There was a question about the shipment of Tan 2 that FAI Model
Supply was expecting by now. I have been given some
un-offical information that an unexpected delay was encountered
at the factory. Normally John Clapp keeps us informed
of what is going on so I'm expecting a status from him shortly.
I would prefer to have the information directly from John.

Roger,

I have the Cunningham "Space Rod" plan & Bob Holman semi-kit available now.
They can be ordered from my guest website www.Supercraftmodels.com (I'm a
guest of Jack Sugameli).

I don't have any of the A-1s available but, since the events are to be
presented over the next few years I'd be happy to do them. Can anyone send
me a plan or plans? I can be reached at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
