World Cup
=========
The last event of the FF World Cup 97 was scheduled for last week end
near Bern, Switzerland. We have not heard any results, so if any
subscribers know what happend please e-mail us.

World Air Games
===============
A press release from the FAI declared the World Air games held in
Turkey to have been a great sucess. I guess that the other disiplines had
better luck than Free Flight. Martin Dilly's report in FFn was not very
complimentary at all. A comment from a Ukrainian was more diplomatic
but said "that the timer keepers were not sportmen [i.e. modellers]".
Apparantly there were numerous timing and scoring errors. The FAI is
going ahead and planning another World Air Games, although they did not
give a date.
