Calling all F1J Sportsmen
Car 54 ….
From : Mike Roberts
Calling all J's, calling all J's. Officer Toody would like all J flyers to start preparing for the up coming Fab Feb Ike and Max Men contests. I plan to have an aviation themed something extra for the J winners in each event. Let's get our models trimmed and be sure to understand the flying schedules. There will be no rain, I promise.
We had a good group last year so hoping we do even better this Feb. I will be placing a fuel order in early January, so you all might think of flyers that might share your quart and the amount of nitro you want. See you there!
Mike
Editor’s Note : For f1J to be flown at the fab Feb Events there must be 4 entrants. So be sure to let Mike know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you plan to fly F1J at these events.
Southwest FAI Challenge and the hot dogs
From: Mike Richardson
Hello Roger
I would like to remind everyone who plans on attending Southwest FAI Challenge that will be having the usual hot dog fest on Saturday.
So far the long term weather forecast is looking good the contest but not so good the Sam Champs. It will be a little breezy for the beginning of the week for them.
Looking forward to seeing everyone,
Mike & Tom

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Please find attached the link to the 70th Nats website.
"Please forward, disseminate, publish, send, share, post, to anyone and everyone."
The site contains an on-line entry (Registration) as well as a downloadable PDF Entry Form and Program, plus a lot of other useful information.
It still needs some "tweaking" however we managed to meet the deadline ( MAAA 6 months).
The various SIG's who will run the events have come on board and through good communication and commitment all categories are now covered with the exception of some of the RC Glider fraternity.
The AEFA have taken on the responsibility for the F5J event however no one as yet has agreed to run the other RC glider events.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank the members of the Victorian Miniature Pylon Racing Assoc, the NSW Scale Aircraft Assoc, the NSW Pattern Flyers Inc, the Control Line Aircraft Society,
the Society of Antique Modellers, the NSW Free Flight Society , the Australian Electric Flight Assoc, the Bland Shire Council, West Wyalong MAC, and anyone else I have omitted, for their assistance.
The stage is almost set for what should be a successful, enjoyable and well attended Nationals.
Best regards
Tahn Stowe
