The FAI Rules !

Readers of the latest FAI rules may wonder if the CIAM has become drunk on power ?  Ban Alcohol at FAI events — are they kidding ?  Doesn’t WADA understand, F1C runs on Alcohol !

Seems like the good old days of Continental events providing packed lunches, which included a bottle of wine (for each competitor !) may be under some threat ?  And perhaps we have seen the last of wine glasses and beer tankards being presented as valued Prizes to the Winners ?  Do they plan to water-down the Banquets — will it be only milk and OJ henceforth ?

Compulsory Random Drug Testing of competitors at FAI Championships — I don’t think so !  I cannot imagine that the Parents of entrants to Junior World Championships will stand for that !

Jolly good job that there is no intention of banning Dope — thanks to the Therapeutic Use Exemption loophole !  I suggest you all apply for forgiveness immediately.
