Tom Kerr

We have just received word that well known East Coast Free Flighter,  F1C sportsman and
Brooklyn Skyscrapers member Tom Kerr has just past away.  Tom was one of the organizers of the Maryland Americas Cup event for many years.  As some of you know Tom suffered a stroke on the flying field two months ago.

Tom's memorial service will be held Sat.,January 28 at 4 PM at the Presbyterian Church, 905 Gateway, Chestertown, MD

FAB FEB:

To date I have received 54 entries for the Maxmen, 40 of which are from
competitors outside the US.Using my higher math skills, this means 14
diehards from the US have entred. So just another reminder to get them in
if you are coming.

Also, the original entry form that I posted on SEN showed the entry as $25
for ABC, and $10 for PGHJQ, but this was my error. I asked Roger to post
the corrected version, which he did a couple of days later. Now I have some
entries paying the lower price, and some paying the corrected price. If you
paid the lower price you can pay the difference at registration.

One more note: since the banquet is on the Saturday of the Isaacson instead
of the Saturday of the Maxmen, we would appreciate it if you could get
entries in well in advance, so that we can get idea of how many will attend.

Magic Yard Sale

Generator - 2500 watts . No longer needed because the new Magic Mobile has a generator built in.  Contractors generator .  Originally cost about $600 - going for $125.  Will have it at Fab Feb events at Lost Hills unless someone buys it first.

Palm Stuff - Over the years we have collected some Palm Pilot stuff e.g. manuals, Palms that work but have no external memory card [Palm III, IIIex, V VII], cradles, cases and other stuff - for sale as is at Fab Feb Contest.  Palm Pilots $5 each - you verify that it works and other items $1.  All good stuff but we do not ship with the bundles as the cost of shipping often way outweighs the value of the item.   Note that this does NOT include the Palm Bundles we sell in support of Magic Timers.

UGLue -Clarification to notice in previous SEN

FAI Model supply has 4 oz bottles of UGLue. Please advise if you would like some at Lost
Hill.

This covering adhesive is the best there is according to many F1C fliers.

We got some orders for the glue at SEN , so it must be good stuff and passed them on to John at FAI Model Supply.  If you want , contact FAI Model Supply
