Seeking an old flying buddy

Forty years ago (early ‘70s) I flew FF with a guy from Orange, CA named Russ Backer.  After moving from CA I lost contact with him.  Does anyone remember him, or know if he’s still active?  If so, got an e-mail address for him?

Un handled

Concerning SEN, handles are cute, but I recommend including also the full name (at least parenthetically).  Your distribution list is too large and international to expect that people will know who is writing otherwise.
If it were just a small club it would be different.

Best,

Andrew

Andrew , a very good point.  I must admit that I'm irritated at times by the handles/screen name/ alias used on both the NFFS Forum and HipPocket.  I like to know who is talking and may be see how they figure in contest results.  Also when group of people are discussing something on line and they sign their message with an alias but refer to other by their first name it makes other people feel left out .  Not the intention with SEN where we would like everyone to contribute and feel welcome.

To than end certain individual are un masked below.  We will keep our 1 April contributors suitably masked for their protection.

Defining the current state of affairs

Yes, Sir Magical One,
[Roger Morrell, the reference is to Magic Timers, not Harry Potter or any sporting prowess]

A Leeper IS a "roo by implication"..., and NOT a squatter!
To further this defining desiderata, a "Leeper" has no marsupial pouch nor tail.
I cannot attest, however, as to whether or not "Squatteroo" is so encumbered.

That said, in the future it seems only appropriate that "Squatteroo"   should bow
&
allow "Leeper" to pass unobstructed whenever their paths might cross.
A salute by "Squatteroo" shall not be required, and not returned by "Leeper",
out of friendship & the "Fly, Max, Win" Rules of the field!

Yr fthfl srvnt,
Leeper The Definer

Timers This is a fly one flight, time one flight contest. Please buddy up with another flyer for each event.  If you are new to Lost Hills and do not know any other flyers please see me and I will set you up with another flyer. For all fly-offs you need to bring a timer to the line and a random pull of the time cards will select your timer for the flight. Thank you in advance for your corporation on this subject.
