Mark my words

After we sent out the previous SEN I realized that it might have looked as if we, the readers and editorial staff were picking on or critising Mark Belfield's comments. Nothing can be farther from the truth Mark is to be commended for coming forward with a positive suggestion to address an issue that all of us see.  On top of that his e-mail prompted further suggestions from a number of other modellers with some good ideas.

Come to think about the only community it did not prompt input from was the under 25s, or even stretching it a little the under 30s.  If we look back over the last few years of your only mouth piece is none other than Ben who seem to have gone to hide with the wolves or whatever in Wyoming, although that's not stopped him from talking!  So Austin, John (s), Dallas (you have to make less typos than your dad), Sarah, Phil, Michelle, Brian (s), Cody, Tyler, Taron, Sevak, Chinmay, Oliver, Logan and we know that this is not just a US things. So how about it , Oskar, Micheala, Hendrik, Veronika, Philip. Tomas, Bartolmiej, Paul, Oleksandr, Anastasia and Aleksandra. If Evgeny  , Victor   or Henning who probably didn't learn English in school like you probably did  can write for SEN , so can you. We all like model flying so what should do to make it more attractive to younger people? or do you just go along to dear old dad happy?

Note forwarded from Pete Reinhart

All,
The attached message was received by me late this evening (Tuesday).
I spoke with Marlene briefly this evening who asked me to relay this message to as many of his friends as possible.
He will be returning home Wednesday afternoon for recuperation. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Pete Reinhart, Austin, Texas

Pete,

Just wanted to let you know, Eddie had been having hurting in the chest for about two weeks, off and on.  Went to the Doctor last Friday and his Doctor wanted him to go Monday to have a stress test.  He failed the stress test and was in the hospital this morning.  He had to have 2 stints put in, one was 99% and the other 80% blockage.  Also found two others that were 30 and 40% blocked, but can't put stints in them because of where they are.  Later on he may have to have open heart surgery.  He is still in the hospital and should get to come home around noon tomorrow. He seems to be doing pretty good. Told me to go home for the night.

Let you know more later.

Marlene
