Bob:

I read your piece on the SEN and if you have a postal address for him
I think an old fashion get well card is the preference of most.

Do you have his address ?

Thank you
Ernesto Busnelli

Roger:

With this latest fiasco by Motel 6, it certainly seems to me that there
is more than enough business for another (and better) motel to be built
near Lost Hills. Also another restaurant.

An announcement to the free flight community from
The San Diego Orbiteers
September, 2006

Free Flight's next frontier: Abolishing the Builder of the Model rule.
SDO's mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new free
flight beings, and bring life back to contests and flying fun. BOM?
Who cares...fly what you have. Buy it, trade for it, inherit it? We
don't care. Just come fly it. These are the voyages of the Starship
Orbiteers: To go boldly go where no club has gone before."

___________________________________________________________________

Yes, it's true. The San Diego Orbiteers, never to have been a group
with any fear of going where no club has gone before, has made the bold
move to abolish the builder of the model rule* for our
monthly duration contests. They are open to all AMA members regardless
of how the model is obtained.

Come on down, bring whatcha got, and fly with us!

Bob Beecroft
Publicity Chair, San Diego Orbiteers MAC

*The small print:
1) In all but the scale classes where the builder really makes the
model what it is.
2) All Orbiteers monthly contests are sanctioned Record Trials.
Obviously, you can’t set a record if your model doesn’t fully
comply with AMA Competition Regulations.

carbon on the piston and head

Hello F2D flyer !

Please to think about use synthetic oil in F2D fuel, because no carbon on
the piston/liner, head, and more life of the engine.
I have type synthetic oil - world wide available and price 7...9 usd per
liter
Test have best result for engines - no carbon, more life, more compression.
I think we have time for change oil for any glow engine and models.
Carbon on the piston and head - make meny problems for all airmodellers .
May be we make finish for carbon ?
STOP CARBON !
:-)

Best regards !

Dear Friends,

I regret to inform you that Forrest Stairs died of a
heart attack on Tuesday evening.

Forrest was well loved by all those that knew him. He
had a great sense of humor and was a loyal member of
the San Valeers Freeflight club. He will be dearly
missed by all his friends.

For those wishing to pay their respects the memorial
service will be held on Oct 7th Saturday at 2:00 P.M.
at the Seventh-day Adventist church at 6300 Telephone
