Hello John [SW RFF FAI CD],
I want to clarify my mail of today. There were only 3 flyoff
rounds in F1G. For Phil's last flight I saw a watch at 4'19 but the official
time was probably the 4'20" or 260 seconds while my last flight was 239
seconds. The correct results should be:
Phil Klintworth 120 120 120 120 120 180 240 260 1280
Peter Brocks 120 120 120 120 120 180 240 239 1259

Roger, Hardy is being optimistic. He's not really best known for being old.
The real truth is that he is best known for marking fields with barber
poles.

I have ha a couple of communications from down under saying 2001 in Australia
is off! Is this correct?

Michael J Woodhouse

[Michael - I did some investigation and came up with
the following ...

Yes, there is some doubt.

The original venue, Wagga, seemed to offer accommodation in
the University and there was an excellent field 40 km away.

The availability of the university accommodation cannot be
confirmed until December 2000 - it appears it may be
changing from three semesters to two.

The Navy built an antenna farm on the field. The next
closest field is 80 km from Wagga.

There is a search for another venue. Yanco is a possibility.
It has an agricultural college with 300 beds. It is being
investigated this week.

The organisers have until the 31st January to come up with a
proposal that is viable. Otherwise, they will hand the
championships back to CIAM. ]

Roger / SEN,

Has the CUFFMAC Calendar of events for Year 2000 been published or
do you / anyone have a web-site address / link for it's location ?

Thanks,

Martyn

[The CUFFMAC Calendat has been produced but I need to type it in.
For someone with my limited keyboard skills, this takes time.
Hopefully it will be online "real soon now"]
