I'm the designer of the MultiClass timer www.image.dk/~torleifj and of
the Koster Acoustic Tachometer that has been out of production for
many years. As it seems there is no alternative device on the market I'm
now getting requests for repair of 15 years old units.

I am considering to develop a new and improved version with larger
display and selectable RPM range. Since there is large initial costs, I
will only do the development if I have at least 20 orders by 1st. of
December.

Mail me your order if you are interested. Price will be 1.700 DKK,
equivalent to 200USD. Delivery in January 2001 at the latest.

An Apology
==========
Author : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

My sincerest apology. I really misread the incoming email from Roger. I
want to describe an example here of what I saw and what I missed. One
example will do.

Peter Summersby 101 180 180 95 556 3 119 180 167 1022 2 2
10 180 170 1582 1

I have reduced the spacing that appeared on the email so as not to get it
wrapped here. If you do not see a 2 2 at the end of the line, send me a
postal address and I will use a system that does not wrap text, our U S
Postal service.

I soon figured that there were 4 rounds the first day with a score of 556 and
in third place. Next came three rounds for the next day, total score and
placing.
The 2 on the end looked lonesome and I completely misread that it goes with
the 10 on the next line, making , of course, a 4 minute flight. I did think
that 10 seconds was a bit low, but not knowing the wind effect, called it as
I saw it. And so it went for the rest of the results.

This will not happen again here. If I think there is something wrong, I will
email the writer to get me set right.

In reality, we type write scores properly and the confines of the email
system does its thing. Makes me think how many contracts showing total cost
were truncated in the same manner. Lord a mighty.

Ever so sorry,

Bill Bogart

Question on rubber and a link to add to your site

Hello Roger,

First a question for the newsletter, Has anyone gotten any of the rubber
batch that was promised for the beginning of September. This is the batch
that was announce when John Clapp said that the August batch was not up to
team trial standards. If anyone has gotten it, how good is it?

Secondly, I have a site that is dedicated to lightweight indoor flying (F1D,
EZB, etc.) that may be of interest. The URL is www,indoorduration.com If
there is anyway to get this added to your links page I would appreciate it.

Tim
[Denver, CO]

[Tim I think the September was about like the August]

To all 2001 Team Selection Participants,

An attempt was made to hand out the following questionaire at the Finals,
however about half of you did not recieve one, too much going on. So, here it
is again and you can email it back to me at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. If you recieved
one on the field you can do either.

Thanks again, Tom Laird

FAI Free Flight Team Selection Participants

The SCAT Club will be publishing a review of the 2001 Team Selection Finals.
This will feature reporting of the three events by three different authors
along with many photos, model specifications, team member profiles, comments,
and a lot of interesting FAI modeling stuff. In order to make the Review as
interesting and informative as possible, I'm asking all participants to
complete the following questionnaire at your leisure and return to me in the
SASE. For your effort a Review will be sent to you to relive the experience.

Thanks for you help and the best of luck.

Tom Laird
