From an instant analysis .. without the benefit of Jim Parker's Excel
spread sheet. It looks like the action was in F1C where Henry Spence
may have passed Gil Morris and Doug Joyce to take the lead.
Where was Waterman ?
Martyn Cowley just kept his F1H lead over Brian Van Nest. This is Brian's
second lesson of the year - even if there is not heavy competition
in a small contest [Las Vegas] always try and max to to get those bonus points.
In F1B Paul Crowley did not do quite well enough to topple jerry Fitch
In F1A Matt Gewain had too big a lead. David Ellis did well, as he
did last year. Look like he likes Palm Bay.
December 1997 Rubber
====================
The results seem to be mixed on this rubber. Some people have
made very positive reports being up with the best,
while one tester rates it back with April 95
[good at that time but not like the latest stuff]. .. I guess you'll
just have to get some for yourself and see !
Incidently, we have offered to publish [at no charge] press releases
or information bulletins from FAI Model Supply on the rubber. Because
we have all kinds of people making comments about the the 'latest'
batch and thought that John Clapp might like to comment himself or tell people
when a new batch is in and what he is calling it. But
at this time John has not taken us up on this offer.
