Canada’s Perfect field.

From:Michael Achterberg
Hello.

We just got back from Canadian contests. Everyone should put these 2 contests on there schedule. The most beautiful field you will ever see. 2" high green grass as far as you can see. No dust, models easy to find cause they sit up on green carpet. Truly a site to see. Motels close to site and reasonable. Nothing like laying on beautiful green grass enjoying a great flying experience. Weather was a little warmer than usual but still fun. The second contest wind blew cross ways to shorter side of field but chasing was fine with car,  just going out around field and and driving to cross road. Walking in couple hundred yards and picking up model. We were very impressed.

All in all a very worth while trip. We all met at Ladi' s after the contests at his home and had a BBQ and Tony supplied the beer. Great fun and of course a lot of BS from the host Ladi!! Everyone should plan on coming next year.
Thermals,
Dino
