Saturday the wind was gusting from 2 - 8 mph which made retrieval of the high performance ships near impossible if timing did not take advantage of the lull. The F1A flyers seemed more fortunate in this regard until the last round, when a very long episode of search the corn field was successful. Sunday was milder w/ a calm to 4mph drift from the south. A good direction !

Maxed Dates

CHE asked when the Max Men FAI would be held.
My reply:
The Max Men FAI has always been held over Presidents Day weekend, historically speaking, which puts it Feb 15-17, 2008.
The IKE would then be Feb 9-11.
I confirmed this by telcom with Norm Furutani, BTW.
Get your tickets, bring other sportsmen, and see you then!
Ciao,
Leeper
