Here's the complete AmCup results. I've incorporated corrections from SEN
readers from the results sent out a few days before. The biggest impact was
an error in Martyn Cowely's F1H total. Martyn now leads Chuck Markos by 1
point. A typo error on Al Brush"s Sierra Cup win shorted him some F1B
points, with this correction he is now tied for 2nd. Corrections to the
bonus points at the Patterson changed a few top scores. I'll send the EXCEL
file to those requesting it. Please send any more corrections to me. I'll
bring the score sheets to Eloy AZ this weekend should anyone wish to perform
a second check. I believe the Patterson F1C tie will be decided at Eloy (we
have given Guti, Simpson, Joyce until Friday noon of the MaxMen to decide if
needed. We extended this same offer to George Batiuk and Blake Jensen for the
Patterson F1B tie but I believe they have decided to leave it as a tie). If
Bob Guti wins this tie breaker, he'll win the AmCup.
The only changes to the 2000 AmCup rules will be a clarification of the AmCup
contest tie breaker. We've learned our lesson this year and we'll strictly
enforce the new tie breaker rule as well as all other.
Tom Coussens is recovering well from his ACL surgery. He will be putting
together the initial 2000 AmCup Schedule next week. We are currently
planning to have all the same contests as 1999 with the (re)addition of the
USFF Champs at Lost Hills. We have about half the information needed. CD's,
please provide your contest dates and the events flown. Please update CD

As usual, the first three AmCup contest are S.W. regional, Eloy AZ Jan.15,
16, 2000; Max Men, Lost Hills CA Feb. 19, 20, 2000 and the SCAT annual, Lot
Hills Ca in March.
