Don’t get eliminated

Schedules for the SkyScraper Annual (June 15-16), and Lacey-Kerr Memorial (July 13-14)

Competitors for whom valid FAI Licences have not been found and have been eliminated from the original results

The above note is under some events on the FAI 2019 World Cup Results -at http://www.freeflightnews.org.uk/wcup/WC19/WCP19F1.HTM
So if you intend to take part in a World Cup event you need a FAI License from you NAC (National Aero Club).
And why should do that if I don’t intend to beat ….
Mikhail Kosonozhkin, Vitek Rossler,Oleg Kulakovsky, Zofia Zdancewicz,Mariusz Gasiorowski, Wenze Li,Andras Jancso, Jean-Luc Drapeau or Nils Finke, these are the people leading a World Cup category at the time of writing this. In fact I don’t intend to take part in any contests away from my local field. So why should I do this.

You do this, if for no other reason but to support FAI Freeflight. The more people that take part in an event, the organizer will benefit financially and get satisfaction from a greater number taking part and be encouraged to do it again, those contestants score points will benefit, more bonus points and points awarded further down the field. If potential participants know many people they themselves are more likely to take part.

The more people that take part the more opportunities to learn from others and benefit from participation.

Many of the same people tend to run the events and thus support FAI Freeflight , so even if you don’t run an event support it this way.
