In the Press CIAM Bureau Meeting Summary from FFn

Bureau meeting in Dubai to coincide with the WAG
 
The core business of the Bureau meeting includes review of the
contest calendar and 2016 Champs   and plans for
the Plenary meeting. Some proposals submitted by Netherlands
and Canada on F1C changes had been refused because it is not
the right year for changes within the 2-year rule cycle. That
also applied to one from the FF Subcommittee to give freedom
to vary the round time allowed for flyoff flights, even though
that was explicitly only for open internationals not
championships. There are some FFSC proposals for World Cup
rules, clarification of group flyoffs, details to follow.


The Plenary meeting will be in Lausanne on April 8 and 9,
which is different from the dates originally announced. There
will not be a Free Flight Technical meeting in 2016.

 
The calendar has not yet been fully confirmed. A number of
events have issue with payment – either transaction in progress
but not yet completed or the more serious no payments
received. All these events are marked. In the summary tables
below they are shown with * on the right hand side are
provisional.
