Looking for the Lone Star Article

From : Ed Mate

Every time I try to go to the Lone Star article I get a note from Internet Explorer that they encountered a problem amd I must close. I still havent read the article. I recieved it from Hermie Andresen a few days ago and had the same problem. I tried 4 times then and once now. Anybody else have the same problem? Sure would like to see what happened. Ed Mate

I want to play around this year and thought that I may build a straight tow glider for the classic competition. I am thinking of doing a foam core with a carbon spar wing- either carbon or glass over the outside. Now, not having done any glider flying in a long time, I have a few questions.
What is the "hot setup" airfoil in use now adays? I plan on looking at some of the Sympos for planform ideas. Being straight tow, it will take alotta the mechanisms outta play but who knows....Maybe I will make a circle tow version.
Any use in going to a small stab/ long tail boom or has everyone just done what everyone has done?
Comments and simple answers appreciated!!
