Roger,

If you are going to sent out another SEN in the next day or two this might
be of interest to someone. I saw a F1C for auction on E-bay today. It is a
folder by Babenko, no engine. If you want to look at it, go on E-bay do a
search for "F1C" and it should come up.

Dear Roger
We learned from Mikhail Kosonozkhin (Russian F1A flyer) that he has bought an altimeter
from you wich fits into the BlackMagic program.
If this is corect, can you please inform me a little more
about such device. A friend of mine flying F1A and not speaking very god
english is interested in such unit .
He uses the BlackMagic and the Palm Programmer.
Any other information about altimeters is welcome.
Thank you very much in advance for your information.
Kind regards
Kurt Sager (flying F1B)

[Kurt

Ken Bauer -makes a very simple Altimeter that uses the 'universal' Linkosalo
palm Pilot program and a cable that is the same as the Red/Blackmagic programming cable.
This altimeter is very light [2.5 grams , I think] but typically records data from one flight.

There are other altimeters such as lolo and ram2 that are heavier but record more
and also wotk with tapio's palm program.

As a point of imterest I have used all on my F1B at different times and find them very
for measuring both altitude and rate of sink]

I continue to get reports that Lost Hills Motel 6 reservations are still not
dependable. Those of you who were advised your reservations were moved to
Buttonwillow should confirm those, especially if you allowed Lost Hills Motel
6 to do that for you. Some have checked to find out no reservation existed.
There are rooms still available in Butonwillow. Just a heads up and aside
from that, we are ready for a great Finals. See you soon.
