hey everyone, First of all I would like to thank Juan Livotto for a great
contest. Second I just wanna say what a good time i had flying with the
worlds best. I have only flown freeflight for about a year, and i already
think that this is the best sport/hobby that exists. Being at a world champs
kind of opened my eyes to the fact that other people feel the way I do
about freeflight. I only wish that there was more of us junior flyers.
I don't know why there is not more jr flyers, it is everything you can ask
for in a sport. It is fun, challanging, and it is competition. I just want
to tell all the freeflight flyers all over the world that i loved to
compete with everyone of you and even thought i didn't win the Canada cup,
I had the time of my life. I hope the rest of your
freeflight flyers did too. I hope I see more of you freeflight diehards out
there in the future, but until then Fly Max Win.

Roger,
I just finished completing the World Champs Picture Gallery on the NFFS
website (with the exception of the Awards Banquet pictures, which I will
post next week). Please put this notice on the SCAT EN so everyone on your
list is aware of it.

This picture coverage of he World Champs was a fun and educational
experience. When we (myself, Cindy Semack and Ellen Poti) set out to post
online pictures of the WC's from Lost Hills, California, we had no idea we
would end up posting 1,637 pictures!
My thanks to:
George Batiuk, the Contest Director for his permission to shoot these
pictures, and for his well organized flight line which made this project easy.
Rogerl Morrell, and his company Infonet which provided the internet
connection which I used to upload these pictures with from Lost Hills,
California. Also for the 21 inch monitor which I used to view pictures
connecting it to my laptop when processing the pictures nightly when it was
not being used by contestants for email.
Cindy Semack and Ellen Poti who helped take the pictures. They provided many
good shots that I otherwise would have missed.
My daughter Elizabeth, who lent me her laptop so I could download pictures on
the field and upload them to the website nightly.
The dozens of people who emailed us during the WC's stating there
appreciation for the coverage we were providing, it helped keep us going!

Another Danish free flight fan would like to subscribe to the world

Next time the SEN is a little on the short side (!) you might put in
the following:
Just recently I have built two new model boxes from 4 mm plywood and instead
of painting them I just gave them two times of thinned cellulose laquer
inside and outside. A little sanding in between and after.Then they were
covered with silver grey ORACOVER (used to cover big RC planes with!) on the
outside. Now they are waterproof and they look just great. It took me all in
all only four hours to cover them. The painting would have taken at least a
week. Small scratches are easily repaired with ironed-on patches of the same
covering material. All corners are protected by brass corners bought in a
do-it-yourself shop.
But I have used up nearly all my stickers by putting them on the new boxes,
so now I would like to swap free flight and aeromodelling stickers from SEN
readers. If you send me one I will send you my Danish one!
